Senior Advisor, Education Engagement at British Council
Jacqueline Jenkins took up the role of Senior Education Advisor – Engagement at the British Council in February 2015. During her career at the British Council Jacqueline has led their flagship international education conference from its inception in 2004, to what now has becoming the largest open conference for leaders of tertiary education in the world. She currently leads on all sector engagement activities, including the Education UK Alumni Awards which celebrates the achievements of international students that have studied in the UK. Jacqueline was educated at University of Arts London where she gained first-class honours in Fine Art. She started her career leading campaigns for Mardi Gras, New South Wales’ second-largest annual event in terms of economic impact, generating an annual income of about A$30 million. She has also produced Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in Australasia.
