Nhlanhla Thwala is the Vice-Chancellor of the Africa Leadership University. He has dedicated his life and career to education as a student, educator, and academic executive. His specific area of expertise is empowering people with language and the communication skills they need for professional and personal advancement. He was previously the Academic Director of Pearson Institute as well as the Managing Director of CTI Education. He holds a BA in English from the University of Swaziland, an MA in Linguistics – Syntactic Analysis from Syracuse University and a PHD in Linguistics – Syntax and Morphology from University of California, Los Angeles.
