Angélica Natera is a higher education consultant focusing on developing educational opportunities and driving positive change in higher education. With over three decades of experience in the field, Angélica leverages her expertise and her global network of university connections and educational innovators to advise higher-education institutions in strengthening education.

Angélica earned her bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences and management from the Universidad Tecnológica del Centro in Venezuela. She did her graduate studies in cognitive-behavioral psychology at the Universidad Simón Bolívar in Venezuela and in administration and management at Harvard University.

As the Executive Director of Laspau, a former Harvard University affiliate, Angélica oversaw scholarship programs, including the Fulbright Program for the US Department of State, and spearheaded the University Innovation area, developing programs aimed at enhancing teaching quality and driving institutional transformation in universities. Her work at Laspau benefitted over 300 universities and 14,000 university faculty, leaders, and students in the Americas. Angélica’s exceptional leadership at Harvard University was recognized with an Administrative Fellowship in 2010 and by the Committee on the Concerns of Women in 2019.

As results-driven leader, Angélica has a proven track record in driving transformative initiatives in higher education. She facilitates these transformations by creating innovative and result-oriented programs to strengthen universities and fostering academia-government-industry collaborations to enhance the overall quality of higher education. Angélica has worked with world-class universities in Europe, Asia, and Africa to promote innovation in teaching and is recognized as an inspiring speaker on educational innovation.
