Professor Agnes Nairn is the Pro Vice Chancellor (Global Engagement) at University of Bristol.
She is responsible for shaping Bristol’s global civic agenda and international profile and reputation.
She also provides strategic leadership and oversight of the University’s international and internationalisation initiatives, with a particular focus on activities and partnerships of strategic importance that support and enhance the University’s global engagement objectives, which form a crucial part of the refreshed Vision and Strategy.
Agnes is also Chair of Marketing at University of Bristol. She is a researcher, writer, consultant and speaker on issues related to marketing, ethics and children – issues about which she is passionate. Her current focus is the prevention of gambling harms – particularly the impact of gambling marketing on young and vulnerable populations. She is particularly interested in the policy and social impact of academic research.
