Faith Abiodun is the Executive Director of United World Colleges (UWC), a global education movement of 18 schools and programmes across more than 150 countries, dedicated to making education a force for peace and a sustainable future.
He previously served as a senior executive at African Leadership Academy, where he led Communications, Marketing, Recruitment, and Partnerships to identify and develop young leaders worldwide. Faith has also worked with Catalyst 2030 to accelerate progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and founded Future Africa, a public sector leadership network active in 30+ African countries.
His career began in journalism with The Guardian (Nigeria), after which he founded The Speech Academy and Global Impact Network. He chairs the International Baccalaureate’s Education Systems Advisory Council and serves on the boards of News Decoder and UWC Adriatic, as well as the Global Advisory Council of Teach for All’s Global Institute.
Faith holds degrees from the University of Ibadan and Syracuse University and received an honorary doctorate from Macalester College in 2023.
