Martín Rodríguez is the General Manager of IE University Lifelong Learning and Digital Learning, overseeing the IE initiatives related to non-degree programs. These programs are mostly focused on executive education, bootcamps, certificates, online programs, and this includes the development of learning materials, multimedia cases, interactive tutorials, simulations, Virtual Reality (VR) & immersive learning, MOOCs, self-paced online courses, among others.
With over 20 years of experience, mainly working in higher education, Martín has been involved in many initiatives such as the launch of new programs in all categories within IE Lifelong Learning, the redesign of executive education programs, the ideation of online methodologies, the implementation of learning analytics, the development of virtual reality & immersive learning experiences, the implementation of AI strategies for learning, and many more.
Apart from this, he has served as academic director and facilitator of the Online Teaching Academy by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) since 2019, board member of the EFMD Online Course Certification System, and as an adjunct professor at IE since 2011, focusing his interest on how to manage creative projects. Martín studied engineering at Universidad de los Andes and holds an MBA, as well as a Global Advanced Management Program from IE Business School.
