Sobhee Sanjeev Kumar holds a BA (Special) in economics with distinction from the University of Pune, India. He then specialized in finance until obtaining his doctorate at the University of Mauritius.
Professor Sanjeev Kumar Sobhee has also served as Head of the Department of Economics and Statistics and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
